PS1: Thursday is the school exam. Wish me luck...
PS2: To hell with those who scrub baths!

The next morning, student dormitory.

Hao Ren opened his eyes in utter contentment, surrounded by a heap of women. Nemesis was still clad in her black lace slip, her fragrant head resting on Hao Ren’s thigh as she slept soundly. Surprisingly, Xiao An was not standing to rest as usual, but, like Ya Ya, wore a golden pajama set adorned with petal patterns, her expression serene as she hugged Hao Ren’s right arm, still not awake. Ya Ya, in her cute pink pajamas, was behind Xiao An, giving her a bear hug, drooling onto Xiao An’s collar as if she had dreamed of something sweet. Ah, nothing more delightful than the sight of blossoming sisters in such an embrace! And finally, clinging to Hao Ren’s left hand, was Shiina, wrapped only in a chest band and wearing something below even more scandalous than a thong—a knotted string, her brows furrowed, sleep restless.

Wait, something’s not right here. If memory serves, last night I should have been sleeping alone. Hao Ren assumed a thoughtful pose.

Anyway, best to stay calm and look for the time machine first.

Recalling last night: went to the warehouse to meet Shiina, was challenged by her to a duel. Relying on my suddenly enhanced physical attributes, in that cramped space I managed to defeat the master with wild punches. After being injured and bleeding several times, I seized an opportunity to embrace Shiina, subduing her as a perverted man might. Immediately after, Shiina performed a ninja’s oath of loyalty, voluntarily becoming my summoned creature. Finally, Shiina, exhausted, brought me back to the dormitory and vanished. I hurriedly took a shower and went to sleep on the uncomfortable floor mat.

Hao Ren’s memory faltered…

Why are they here?! If anyone sees this…

“Koji! Are you up yet?” Speak of the devil—accompanied by knocking, the blue-haired Hinata’s voice rang out. Why aren’t you off with your old buddy Otonashi? What are you doing here?!

“So noisy!” Xiao An groaned in annoyance. Her hair morphed into a giant sword and stabbed straight through Hao Ren’s door.

“What the—?!” A strand of hair slid down the blade. Hinata, still in the act of knocking, turned stiffly to stare at the deadly weapon that nearly grazed his face, almost scared out of his wits.

“Uh, um, Yuriko asked me to tell you—after breakfast, there’ll be a meeting at headquarters. That’s all. Sorry to bother you!” Hinata, exceptionally qualified as a messenger, after stammering through Yuriko’s instructions, disappeared without a trace.

Hao Ren stared at the gaping hole in his door, his face dark. He never expected Xiao An to suffer from low blood pressure—could this actually be a cute trait?

Really, anything becomes adorable when it’s on a cute girl…

A sad reality.

Hao Ren’s thoughts wandered a bit too far. Truly, a madman’s mind is vast, and children of lesser intellect are ever cheerful.

“Mmm, meow~ Is it morning already? Master, I want omelet rice.” Nemesis, awakened by the noise, rubbed herself sleepily against Hao Ren’s stomach, acting spoiled.

I want to eat you! Hao Ren lacked the courage to say such a thing.

“Master, I will go prepare breakfast.” Shiina’s archaic manner of address was impossible to change. After some effort, Hao Ren simply gave up.

“Wait, let’s all go together.” Hao Ren stopped Shiina, who was kneeling on one knee before him, dressed in a revealing three-point outfit without a trace of shame. “Hey, Shiina. Don’t you feel embarrassed being like this in front of me?”

“As long as you have need, Master, whether it’s scrubbing your back or warming your bed, just say the word. It is the duty of a servant.” No, Shiina, are you swapping concepts here? Still, I like it.

Name: Shiina
Attributes: Strength 19, Agility 24, Constitution 18, Intelligence 9, Spirit 18, Charm 16
Loyalty: 100
Relationship: Intimate
Skills:
[Zealot] (No level): When the skill owner recognizes the target of loyalty, loyalty is fixed at 100. No skill that sows discord can reduce the owner’s loyalty. When the target is about to suffer a fatal blow, the owner can substitute and take the attack, entering a near-death state. The skill must be activated by the owner. Cannot be upgraded.
[Ninja Tool Mastery] (No level): Mastery of shuriken, caltrops, ninja blades, blow darts, ninja staffs, claw hooks, water spiders, bows, kunai, lock picks, pit spikes, and foreign tools. Cannot be upgraded.
[Shadow Dance] lv1 (0/500): Temporarily doubles agility, attacks leave afterimages. After use, agility is halved for the same duration as the skill was active. Consumes 1 LP for ten minutes, or 500 LP for free use of lv1. Can be upgraded with LP.
[Undying Body] lv1 (0/1000): **Healing speed increased by 100%. When suffering fatal damage, enters a false-death state. Any fatal damage recovers within 60 minutes. Can be upgraded with LP.

Hao Ren really wanted to ask Shiina whether she’d traveled here from the Edo period—an unexpectedly zealous ninja. As for that intelligence stat, Hao Ren had no right to comment on others. The synergy between [Zealot] and [Undying Body] was off the charts; Shiina’s dedication was remarkable in every aspect.

“I hate perverts!” Xiao An, now awake, routinely mocked Hao Ren’s upright lower half. But Xiao An, your sleeping posture earlier really undermines your argument.

“Wow, that’s impressive!” Ya Ya, you little minx—what’s so interesting about a man’s lower half?

“I think there’s a more pressing problem to solve before breakfast.” Hao Ren felt the breeze blowing in through the hole in his door, unusually refreshing.

Skipping repair and breakfast time...

Principal’s office, Angel Battle Headquarters.

“Takamatsu, please begin your report.” Yuriko’s black stockings still draped across the desk.

“Yes. The armory reports that ammunition stocks are nearly depleted. We need resupply before the next battle.” Do all men with glasses look so calculating when their glasses reflect light?

“And with the new recruits, we’ll need some new guns too.” Oyama, you have no distinguishing features.

“I see, understood.” Watching Yuriko, arms crossed without a hint of pressure, there was a sense of sadness.

“Today’s operation is called [Guild Airdrop Operation].” Each operation name is more flashy than the last, but in reality, each is more of a pit.

“What’s wrong, Otonashi?” Hinata immediately noticed Otonashi shivering at the thought of high-altitude parachuting.

“I’m a little afraid of heights…” Otonashi shrank into a ball.

“What are you talking about? We’re not parachuting from the sky—it’s a descent from here to underground.” Japanese is so hard…

“Oh, so it’s underground. Wait, underground?!” Otonashi’s reaction was priceless.

“Deep underground, there’s a place we call [Guild], where our comrades manufacture weapons.”

“To avoid detection by the Angel?”

“Yes. If we lose the Guild, we lose weapon support, and victory becomes impossible.” As she spoke, Yuriko tapped on the keyboard, starting a conversation with the Guild.

“Hey~” A casual male voice responded.

“It’s me. We’ll come over tonight—please disable the traps.”

“Roger. Tonight, right? We’ll be waiting.”

“Good. This time, everyone here will carry out the operation.” Yuriko scanned the room and paused when she saw Hao Ren, “Koji, is that a crow on your shoulder?”
