Words I Wish to Say

Sword Immortal of Strange Tales The True Sincerity Sutra 902 words 2026-04-13 07:34:55

Lately, I want to thank everyone for your companionship. Without your responses, I feel as though I’m performing a one-man show, dull and tedious. But with your replies, I no longer feel alone—there are so many of you accompanying me. Truly, it makes me feel less lonely.

As an author, I am a newcomer. To be honest, sometimes even I can’t bear to read what I’ve written. But if I speak as a reader, I could be considered a seasoned bookworm, with nearly ten years of reading experience and a few unique insights into books.

I started writing almost by accident, clicking on something unintentionally. Suddenly, I had the idea to share what I know with everyone through stories.

Life is full of routines, temptations, and it’s all too easy to lose oneself. I often lose myself as well. Compared to most online novel readers, I’m a bit older and have a little more experience, but compared to a few others, I’m younger and my experiences are shallow.

Every novel is a complete world, reflecting the author’s inner self. When I read novels, I feel like a master; but when I write, I realize how chaotic and unbearable my work is.

Originally, I wanted to write something supernatural—I had even planned out the opening and called it “The Endurance of Death.” It’s about the cessation of all signs of life, yet for the sake of some obsession, a person binds their soul within their body, refusing to let it dissipate. The body dies, the soul is about to scatter, but sheer willpower keeps it clinging to existence, refusing to die.

That’s much like how I write novels—I suppose I’d do the same thing. If only one person reads, I’ll hold on with that last breath and finish the story. Even if no one reads, I’d probably use that same “Endurance of Death” technique.

But my writing is truly unpresentable, so instead I’ll write something in the style of ghost tales.

I want to thank Golden Elixir, The Running Shaman, Chaotic Five Elements Pine, Daoist of Fate, Knife and Flying Blade, Deep Space—Humanity’s Dream, Hiccup ~ J, PLGE, Flame Sky, Demon Star of the Dao, and other fellow readers and writers. Honestly, even I can’t stand to read my own book, so your support moves me deeply.

I have to admire your endurance—if I saw my own book, I wouldn’t glance at it again. But in admiring your patience, I can’t help but feel touched as well. I’ve always believed that writing a book isn’t a solitary endeavor. First, there’s the platform—Starting Point—that gives me the chance to be recommended, the editors who help promote me, the many interactive readers, and only then the author. Only through constant communication, continuous improvement, and ongoing growth can one create a work that truly satisfies oneself.

I publish one chapter every day, three thousand words each, at 00:07. Of course, whenever I upload, I make time to revise the earlier chapters and double-check the later ones before posting.
