Chapter 123: The Final Embrace (5000)
After the antidote took effect, it also meant she would have to leave soon. How reluctant she was to part from him...
“Jin’er, what’s wrong?” Mo Yan noticed the change in her expression and asked with concern.
“Oh, it’s nothing. I’m just afraid the detox might fail since we don’t know exactly how to do it,” Jin’er replied with a smile. Though an excuse, she was genuinely worried.
“Don’t be afraid. Since this is the antidote, the problem is simple. At worst, we can try a few more times. Besides, maybe my father, the emperor, can help.”
Jin’er nodded, suddenly not wanting to think about the detox anymore. She stopped walking, turned around, and embraced him, burying her face in his chest, closing her eyes to silently feel his heartbeat and familiar scent.
Mo Yan lowered his gaze to look at her, then gently wrapped his arms around her, smiling softly, “Be good, Jin’er. Don’t be afraid. I’m here. Even if it doesn’t work, I can use the Fire Spirit to suppress the poison. I’m more than willing to help you.”
Jin’er smiled softly, tightening her grip on his arm, as if wanting to hold him deep in her heart.
After a while, she softly called, “Mo Yan.”
“Hm?”
“Shall we roam the martial world together?”
Hearing this, Mo Yan’s heart trembled slightly, stunned.
To wander the martial world with her—that was such a beautiful life he had dreamed of countless times. He wanted to say “yes” so badly, but he no longer had that choice.
After a long silence, he sighed helplessly. “Jin’er, it’s not that I don’t want to, not that I’m unwilling, but now I have no say. Do you understand?”
Jin’er’s heart ached at his words. Indeed, there were only two princes in the Fire Kingdom, and one was already imprisoned—how could he leave? She realized her earlier words were just a moment’s impulse, a fleeting fantasy.
Looking up at his slightly sorrowful eyes, Jin’er felt a fresh sting in her heart.
How many people in this world truly live as they wish? He was bound by too many restrictions. As for me, an orphan who never belonged to this world, though I don’t have his status constraints, I too am trapped by invisible fate. To want what one cannot have—is that not also against one’s will?
But even if everything can’t go as one wishes, at least one should be able to say no to what one refuses, right?
Mo Yan, I love you. Truly love you, but I have my own resolve. I’m sorry.
Fixing her gaze on his charming face, an overwhelming sadness surged within Jin’er. She tiptoed, closed her eyes, and kissed his lips.
Mo Yan’s heart fluttered; he lowered his head gently so as not to tire her. One hand pressed against her waist, the other cradled the back of her head. Taking the lead, he kissed her tender, petal-like lips with deep passion.
He greedily claimed her fragrance, occasionally nibbling lightly. After a lingering moment, he parted her lips with his tongue, invading her sweetness.
When their tongues met, their bodies trembled slightly, then a more fervent kiss swept over them, their breath short and urgent, stirring the air with passion.
Mo Yan’s large hand roamed over Jin’er’s waist, slowly tracing down her back, feeling the curve bending gently. When he reached the hollow of her waist, he continued upward along that curve.
When his fiery palm covered her round, firm ***, Jin’er shuddered, a tingling sensation blossoming at once. Startled, she quickly opened her eyes, breaking the kiss and shyly turning her face towards the floor, cheeks flushed, chest rising and falling rapidly.
Mo Yan smiled, pinching her lightly, which drew a frustrated glare from Jin’er. He chuckled softly, pretending nothing had happened, withdrew his hand, and with a teasing smile, pulled her waist as they walked back.
At Jin’er’s door, Mo Yan glanced at the trashed room, lowered his head to kiss her temple, and said with a faint smile, “This room can’t be lived in anymore. Sleep with me tonight. Tomorrow, I’ll have someone prepare a new room for you. How about that?”
Jin’er turned to look at him, seeing the hopeful gleam in his eyes. Thinking that if nothing untoward happened, she might leave by midnight tomorrow—that this might be their last night together—her heart ached.
She nodded obediently.
Delighted, Mo Yan didn’t expect her to agree so easily. His captivating eyes sparkled instantly as he bent down and planted a loud, forceful kiss on her cheek.
After washing up, Jin’er pulled Mo Yan to sit on the bed, saying nothing, and began undoing his clothes.
Mo Yan raised an eyebrow, suppressing a smile. “Miss me?”
Jin’er paused, looked up at his eyes full of mischievous intent, rolled her eyes, and scolded, “What are you thinking again? You never change. I just want to see how your wounds are healing.”
Mo Yan raised his eyebrows, shyly blushing—a rare sight that made Jin’er stare in surprise. Who would have thought this guy could blush?
Silently smiling, she lowered her head and continued her task.
As she removed his white shirt, his pale, jade-like skin came into view, his slightly raised chest muscles adorned with two bright red, enticing mounds.
Swallowing involuntarily, Jin’er forced her gaze to the wound.
The scar, once the size of a small fist, was now reduced to the size of a coin. The surrounding new skin was still tender and pink, but clearly healing well—perhaps fully healed in less than ten days.
“It’s all thanks to your superb medical skills. Otherwise, it would have taken over a month,” Mo Yan smiled.
Jin’er smiled faintly without replying, picking up the Snow Skin ointment from the bedside, unscrewing the lid, and using her fingertip to dab some on his wound.
The moment her finger touched his skin, she felt him shiver slightly, his body instinctively pulling back.
Jin’er looked up, teasing, “What are you hiding from? Ticklish?”
She lightly tapped him with her fingertip.
Mo Yan trembled again, annoyed. “Are you doing this on purpose?”
Suppressing a laugh, Jin’er pretended to focus on applying the ointment, but deliberately used the lightest touch, causing him to shiver repeatedly.
Mo Yan knew she was teasing him, gritted his teeth, and suddenly grabbed her arm. “If you keep provoking me, you’ll have to bear the consequences!” His tone was threatening, almost growling.
Seeing his fierce expression, Jin’er knew she was playing with fire, so she stuck out her tongue and didn’t dare tease him further. Mo Yan’s tense nerves gradually relaxed as he withdrew his hand.
After applying the ointment, Jin’er blew on the wound several times, then stood up to put the ointment box aside and prepared to go to bed. Just as she turned, Mo Yan cupped her face and kissed her passionately.
Only when she was gasping for air did he relent. Seeing her flushed face and heavy breathing, he smiled with satisfaction, then lay down, scooting over to make room for her.
Jin’er glared at his smug smile in displeasure but followed suit and lay down. Turning around, she saw his half-fallen clothes, revealing his charming half-bare chest close enough to touch.
Mo Yan stretched one arm under her neck to use as a pillow, while the other casually rested on her waist. Gazing at her beautiful face, so lovely he hated to blink, his heart inexplicably quickened.
“Jin’er, you’re truly beautiful,” he whispered softly.
Jin’er also placed her hand on his narrow waist. As soon as her fingers touched his firm waist, she couldn’t help but stroke back and forth. His delightful scent filled her nostrils, his alluring chest was within sight, and his taut skin beneath her hand—what woman could resist such temptation?
She bit her lip lightly, feeling desire awakening rapidly within her body.
“Can your little hands behave?” Mo Yan warned hoarsely, his breath already uneven. Just looking at her made him restless—how could he endure her touching his waist?
Jin’er looked up at him, eyes glinting mischievously. “Is this not behaving?”
Before finishing her words, she leaned in and flicked her tongue lightly on one of the red bumps on his chest.
Caught off guard by the intense pleasure, Mo Yan shivered slightly, letting out a soulful moan.
Hearing that, Jin’er stepped back with a triumphant smile. “Your moan sounds so good.”
Mo Yan’s handsome face flushed instantly. He flipped her onto her back, both embarrassed and angry. “You little devil! How dare you tease me?! There will be consequences.”
With that, he lowered his body, pressing his burning hardness against her, full of threat.
Jin’er flushed, eyes wide with surprise but quickly composed herself. Suddenly, she pushed him down and straddled him.
“What’re you doing?” Mo Yan was caught off guard, momentarily dumbfounded.
“Your wounds aren’t healed yet. No moving around,” she said, then suddenly lowered her head to kiss him passionately and lovingly.
If this was their last night, how could she not leave some beautiful memories? His wounds were no longer dangerous, and now, she truly wanted him—wanted to possess him deeply.
Feeling Jin’er’s passion, Mo Yan’s heart surged with joy and desire. He returned her kisses while caressing her back, kneading downwards until his hands rested on her perfect, round hips. He fondled and squeezed with increasing intensity, making Jin’er gasp for breath.
Their breaths mixed chaotically, bodies heating up. Mo Yan’s burning palms slid over her waist, moving steadily forward...
...
At a forty-five-degree angle, a certain fox gazed up at the moon, eyes filled with sorrow: “Thanks, crab, thanks.” Over a thousand words omitted here; dear readers who want to see more, join the group~~~~~
Passion surged, trembling sensations exciting their bodies and souls—completely possessing each other, utterly lost in each other, leading them straight to paradise.
Though it was late autumn, Mo Yan was already covered in a thin sheen of sweat. Kneeling on the bed, he tilted his head back with closed eyes, panting for a long time before regaining composure, though his heart still raced.
He turned on his side, propping his head with one hand, gently brushing a damp lock of hair from her face with the other, a satisfied smile curving his lips.
Jin’er looked languid and satisfied, her post-passionate charm utterly captivating. Mo Yan gazed at her with deep affection, unwilling to look away for a moment.
Feeling his burning gaze upon her, Jin’er tilted her head slightly, meeting his handsome smile with a faint blush before averting her eyes to his wound.
“Are you alright?” she asked, gently stroking the injury. Seeing no signs of reopening, she relaxed.
Mo Yan caught her delicate hand as she tried to withdraw it, pressing soft kisses to her fingers. “I wish we could always be like this—not doing anything else, just lying together in warmth.”
Jin’er playfully spat at him, scolding him as a lecher.
Mo Yan laughed, not denying it, biting her finger with a rogue smile. “A lecher I may be, but only for you. The more a husband adores his wife, the more lecherous he is.”
Jin’er laughed and rolled her eyes. “Where did you come up with that twisted theory?”
Mo Yan grinned proudly, his eyes sparkling like a thousand blooming peach blossoms. “I deduced it from personal experience. Besides, I found that the more lecherous the husband, the more the wife likes it.”
“Pah! Who likes that?” Jin’er said, annoyed, throwing a light punch.
“Wait, I haven’t finished! The second part is—‘even if the wife won’t admit it,’ hehe.” Before finishing, Mo Yan turned first, trying to shield himself from her incoming fist with his back.
Unexpectedly, Jin’er raised her fist but didn’t strike. Instead, she looked down, stifling a laugh, then slapped his firm, smooth buttocks hard.
“Ah! You!” Mo Yan spun around, his pale face turning red with embarrassment and frustration. “You dare hit my...”
“Just your butt. So what?” Jin’er said defiantly, raising her chin with a teasing look.
Mo Yan pressed his lips, silent for a moment, then suddenly pulled her into his arms, one hand on her back, the other delivering a moderate smack on her tender, smooth bottom.
“Ah!!” Jin’er screamed. Though not painful, his slap was forceful. Besides, she’d never been spanked before, making the experience strange and awkward.
Before she could think further, another smack landed.
“Hey! I only hit you once!! You bastard! Stop it!!” Jin’er protested with hands and feet, screaming, regretting she had started this.
After several smacks, Jin’er was nearly frantic before Mo Yan finally let go.
“You jerk! Always bullying me!” Jin’er broke free, both embarrassed and angry, glaring at his mischievous grin as if wanting to kick him away.
Biting her lip, knowing she couldn’t win by force, she turned her back, refusing to acknowledge him.
But turning around, she immediately regretted it.
Because as she did, her thigh brushed against something hard and hot. Without thinking, she tensed. Before she could move away, the rogue behind her pressed close, grasped her waist, and began kissing her neck and ear while his hardness rubbed persistently against her.
Damn it, this guy was utterly shameless!
“Hey, behave yourself!” Jin’er warned in frustration.
But her warning was useless—it only seemed to excite Mo Yan more. Depressingly, her own body responded with arousal.
No! She had only rested a moment... Her silent plea ended as someone invaded her again.
It seemed tonight was destined to be a sleepless one.

Jin’er yawned, slowly opening her eyes to see Mo Yan’s enlarged handsome face as the first sight of the day.
Annoyed, she turned her head, deliberately avoiding his gaze.
“Hey, treating me like this first thing in the morning really hurts,” Mo Yan complained, pinching her chin to force her to look at him.
“Hurt? After how you treated me last night, you’re the one who hurt me,” Jin’er said. The despicable guy had taken advantage of her repeatedly, and now she was hungry, weak, and felt like soft clay.
“I’d rather be hurt physically than emotionally. Besides, if anyone’s more hurt, it’s me,” he teased, puckering up to kiss her pouty lips.
Jin’er rolled her eyes helplessly, too weak to push him away. “I’m hungry…”
Hearing this, Mo Yan released her, getting up to dress while smiling faintly. “Lie down. I’ll have someone prepare food.”
Jin’er nodded softly and yawned again.
“So sleepy, you little lazy cat,” Mo Yan said, pinching her rosy cheeks affectionately.
“Last night was exhausting, and I barely slept. How could I not be sleepy?” Jin’er retorted, rolling her eyes.
“Then why am I not sleepy?”
“Who can compete with you? You’re made of iron, okay?”
Mo Yan grinned, not arguing further. He got up, put on his robe, and gave instructions at the door. Soon, someone arrived with food.
