Apologies and Gratitude

These days, I’ve been away on business trips, dealing with my son’s school matters, and to make matters worse, I suffered from heatstroke and was ill for several days. I’ve barely had any time online, let alone time to write. I sincerely apologize for the delayed updates.

This situation will likely last until mid-September, after which things should return to normal. There shouldn’t be any more instances of going ten days without any updates—such irresponsibility will not happen again, I promise.

As always, no matter what, I am determined to tell this story well.

But when I returned today, I was pleasantly surprised to see that my story has gained more followers. Even though it’s only a few more, it still fills my heart with warmth. Thank you, everyone!

I also want to thank “Luo Se Gene,” who has repeatedly supported me with rewards, offered fair and insightful comments in the review section, and encouraged me with kind words. I am deeply moved yet feel unworthy; this unease only adds to my gratitude. All I can do to repay this kindness is to work even harder to tell this story well.

Let me stress once again: due to my limited abilities and time, updates may be slow, but I will never abandon this novel!
