With a resolute hand, I will cut away the dispensable parts and undertake a major restructuring. For now, updates will be suspended—my apologies, and I ask for your understanding, dear readers.

In truth, the story has already far exceeded my original plans. When I first envisioned this tale, the main events—this very section—were meant to conclude within two hundred thousand words. Afterward, there would have been another hundred to two hundred thousand words devoted to war, with the true climax taking place in the Celestial Realm.

Yet as I wrote, intriguing developments kept arising, and I could not help but weave them into the narrative. The result is an overly lengthy beginning.

After much reflection, I have resolved to return this book to its original vision, streamlining the plot significantly. Once the revisions are complete, the story will begin anew from the very first chapter of Volume One. This process should take about a month, likely to be finished after the May Day holiday.

Finally, let me assure you once more: I will see this book through to the end. I will not abandon it.
