Chapter 132: Beating the Dog's Head Ruthlessly
“Is the Hongxing Society really that formidable? Today, I’m here to take down the scum of the Hongxing Society!” Lin Feng’s voice was low and resonant, imbued with a magnetic force.
He stood tall and upright, his figure like a mighty tree standing firm on a vast dune, braving the roaring waves of sea and sky with fearless courage.
“You…” Hu Wenwen’s heart skipped a beat as she gazed upon Lin Feng’s handsome and commanding presence.
Since ancient times, beauty has been drawn to heroes.
At this moment, Lin Feng was her hero in every sense.
“Hmph, your sweet talk won’t save a fool looking for death. So you want to show off, huh? Fine! Then enjoy the Hongxing Society’s torment!” The flight attendant, seeing Lin Feng ignore his warning, grew impatient and stepped aside, arms crossed, waiting for the spectacle to unfold.
A burly man with a dark face strode over with the ferocity of a tiger, his glare fierce as he bellowed, “Kid, I don’t care who you are. Once you step foot in Jinling, you obey me like a dragon or lie down like a tiger. This entire city belongs to the Hongxing Society. If you want to die, say another word!”
“Heh, the Hongxing Society? To me, they’re nothing but a bunch of worthless dogs!” Lin Feng replied, his expression carefree, showing no trace of fear.
“Ha! It’s been years since I met such a stubborn idiot who won’t cry even at his own coffin. Today’s just the day to teach you a lesson!” The dark-faced man snapped, raising his right arm—muscular and thick as Lin Feng’s thigh—and unleashed a powerful punch, fierce and swift.
“Watch out!” Hu Wenwen shouted.
None of the other passengers dared intervene; they could only watch helplessly as Lin Feng faced the onslaught.
To them, Lin Feng’s slender frame and scholarly demeanor seemed no match for the burly brute.
Many female passengers had already closed their eyes, unwilling to witness the impending bloodshed.
Unexpectedly, just as everyone thought Lin Feng would be knocked down by that single punch, the situation abruptly reversed.
Lin Feng raised his hand lightly, effortlessly deflecting the dark-faced man’s fist aside.
In an instant, his left fist shot forward, striking the man’s chest with a resounding thud.
“Boom—”
The dark-faced man never expected that this seemingly weak, slender young man would deliver such a heavy blow—powerful enough to weigh a thousand pounds.
He felt his body lift off the ground instantly; his over two hundred pounds of bulk flew out like a broken puppet.
“Pfft—”
He crashed against the cabin door, blood spurting from his mouth.
“Who the hell are you? You really dare to provoke the Hongxing Society? Do you know I serve under the Fierce Young Master of the Hongxing Society? You must be tired of living!” The dark-faced man staggered up, eyes narrowing with murderous intent.
He was genuinely furious. So what if you have some fighting skills?
The Hongxing Society was filled with warriors; many had reached the peak of inner strength. You’re just a stranger from out of town, and you dare cause trouble on their turf?
The dark-faced man was brimming with confidence. As a member of the Hongxing Society for ten years, he had done countless misdeeds and been with over a hundred women.
He had encountered many self-righteous warriors who tried to stand up for others.
But every one of those warriors met a grim fate—buried without a trace, their bodies thrown into the sea to feed the fish.
“Heh, a hero who doesn’t see his own flaws. On the plane, I couldn’t do much, but once we land, I’ll send men to cripple you, you fool!” The dark-faced man clutched his chest, speaking boldly but daring not come near Lin Feng again. He even hid in the restroom, unwilling to show his face.
Only when the plane touched down did he rush out, pointing at Lin Feng with a loud roar before leaving.
“Kid, just wait. I’ll be at the airport entrance waiting for you. If I don’t cripple you today, my name’s not Wang!”
The dark-faced man’s fierce yet cowardly demeanor was nothing more than that of a clown.
Lin Feng paid him no mind.
Picking up his backpack, he prepared to disembark.
At that moment, Hu Wenwen approached shyly.
“Sir, thank you so much today! Here’s my number. Please call me once you’re off the plane—I want to thank you properly!”
Lin Feng took the card silently, pocketing it casually.
“It’s nothing, just a small matter—not worth mentioning,” he said calmly.
With that, Lin Feng left the cabin alone, heading toward the airport exit.
Hu Wenwen watched his graceful figure fade into the crowd, her heart stirred, her beautiful eyes glimmering with a hint of longing.
“Wenwen, don’t get all lovestruck. This guy’s crossed the Hongxing Society; he won’t end well,” the flight attendant approached again, teasing as he pointed at Lin Feng.
He didn’t want the woman he’d been pursuing for so long to be captivated by Lin Feng.
“Hmph, Fang Qing, you should worry about yourself. He’s so strong, he’ll be fine. Besides, you’re just a coward who ran away last time. What right do you have to judge him?” Hu Wenwen shot a sharp glance at Fang Qing, her tone annoyed.
“Wenwen... I... I just...” Fang Qing was left speechless, stomping his feet in frustration.
...
A short while later, Lin Feng arrived outside the airport doors with his luggage.
“Not bad. I’m right here at Jinling International Airport’s entrance. Come pick me up quickly!”
“Alright, Master Lin, wait a moment—I’m on my way,” Lin Feng said, calling Gu Feng to report his location.
Half an hour passed with no sign of Gu Feng, but the dark-faced man arrived first—leading a group.
“It’s him! This little punk! I warned him many times—no matter what kind of warrior you are in Jinling, you have to be careful around the Hongxing Society. But this brat not only ignored me, he even hit me!”
“Fierce Young Master, you can’t just let this go!”
The dark-faced man looked wronged as he pointed at Lin Feng, accusing him.
Beside him stood a tall, handsome man in a black jacket—the second-in-command of the Hongxing Society and the underground overlord of Jinling: Gu Meng, son of Gu Qianfeng.
Gu Meng’s posture was upright, his stride purposeful—clearly a warrior.
He approached Lin Feng with an imposing aura, staring coldly before speaking in a low voice:
“You’re the one who disrespected the rules of the Hongxing Society on the plane and assaulted one of my men on our turf?”
“That’s right. It was me who put him in his place on the plane. What do you want to do about it?” Lin Feng replied casually, unruffled.
Gu Meng was enraged that Lin Feng treated him with such ease and disdain.
His fury blazed up as he snarled coldly, “Good. I never thought there’d still be someone foolish enough to challenge me after all these years. Rest assured, I won’t disappoint you—I’ll beat you into a wreck and force you out of Jinling!”
