"Jiang Hao? What are you doing here?"
Just then, Su Qingli turned and caught sight of him, her face filling with astonishment. She hurriedly said,
"This isn’t a place where you should be. If you have nothing to do here, leave at once, lest you offend someone important and bring trouble upon yourself!"

"Why am I here? Aren’t you the one who knows best?"
At her words, Jiang Hao let out a scornful laugh, resentment flooding his heart as he sneered coldly,
"But you’re right, this really isn’t where I belong. I should be lying in an operating room right now, obediently waiting for death."

"What are you talking about?"
Su Qingli frowned in confusion.

Jiang Hao was about to lay everything bare.

But just then, a stern-faced middle-aged man strode out from the hospital room. He looked Jiang Hao up and down, his tone lofty and commanding,
"I am Bai Qiming. Since you’re here, you must know what the Bai family wants. If you behave yourself, our Bai family won’t treat you unfairly. But if you don’t, you have only yourself to blame if we show no mercy."

Su Qingli, even more bewildered, instinctively stepped in front of Jiang Hao, forcing a tense smile at Bai Qiming,
"Mr. Bai, Jiang Hao is my husband. He wandered in here by mistake. He knows nothing; please don’t take offense. I’ll take him away at once and apologize to you in person later."

With that, she grabbed Jiang Hao’s hand, trying to lead him out.

But Jiang Hao shook her off hard, his face twisted in mockery,
"Su Qingli, why put on an act? You know better than anyone why I came here, don’t you?"

He turned to Bai Qiming, his tone icy,
"I understand your intentions, but before anything else, I’d like you to throw this woman out. Just seeing her puts me in a foul mood."

"Very well, as you wish."
Such a trivial matter was nothing to Bai Qiming.

As the bodyguards closed in to remove her, Su Qingli, both bewildered and anxious, cried out to Jiang Hao,
"Jiang Hao, have you lost your mind? What are you doing?"

"Wait!"
Jiang Hao suddenly called out. Su Qingli thought he’d changed his mind, but instead, he flashed a cold, merciless smile,
"I heard the Su and Bai families just signed a ‘herbal supply contract.’ Why not dissolve it as well? Consider it the final condition I ask of the Bai family."

A mere contract, a meager Su family—
What did they matter to the Bai family?

Bai Qiming nodded without hesitation, "As you wish."

Only Su Qingli was unable to accept any of this.
Tears streaking her face, she stared at Jiang Hao, crying out in anguish,
"Jiang Hao, you bastard, what are you doing? Do you have any idea how important that contract is to me? Without it, I’m finished! How can you be so cruel?"

"Cruel? Me?"
Jiang Hao’s fury erupted like a volcano as he ground out,
"You deceived me, then got involved with Wang Jun’an, and plotted against me. Did you ever think you were cruel then?"

"Do you know why I destroyed that contract? Because it matters to you—so I had to destroy it!"

"What nonsense! When did I ever deceive you?"
Faced with Jiang Hao’s wrath, Su Qingli’s voice was desperate,
"As for Wang Jun’an, when was I ever with him? Much less plotted against you! I never did any of those things…"

"Still denying it?"
Her refusal to admit the truth made Jiang Hao tremble with rage. He seized her chin and said coldly,
"Weren’t you the one who repeatedly insisted I come to this hospital for checkups? Didn’t you demand I come today to pick up the results? Don’t tell me it was for my health! The facts are plain to see. If I still believed you, I’d be a hopeless fool!"

"While I still feel a shred of old affection, I’m willing to let you go. Take your chance and leave! Otherwise, don’t blame me for being ruthless!"

With that, he lost all patience and had the bodyguards escort Su Qingli out.

The corridor fell silent. Only then did Bai Qiming speak in a low voice,
"I have fulfilled all your terms. Now, please go to the operating room next door, remove your right kidney, and fulfill your promise."

But Jiang Hao merely chuckled,
"Who said I was here to donate a kidney?"

"What do you mean by that? Are you trying to make a fool of me?" Bai Qiming’s eyes narrowed dangerously.

Jiang Hao shook his head, calm and collected,
"You must be joking, Mr. Bai. How would I dare deceive you? However, I am a doctor. I can cure Old Master Bai’s illness without performing a kidney transplant."

"You know medicine?"
Bai Qiming frowned, deeply skeptical.

At that moment, a derisive snort sounded behind them,
"If Jiang Hao knows medicine, then pigs can climb trees!"

Everyone turned to see Wang Jun’an, face clouded, striding over.
He glared venomously at Jiang Hao, then addressed Bai Qiming,
"Mr. Bai, this man married into the Su family two years ago. He doesn’t work, doesn’t lift a finger, lives off a woman’s earnings—he’s notorious for it. How could such trash know anything about medicine? I think he’s just making excuses to avoid donating his kidney and is deliberately wasting time. You mustn’t believe him!"

"What’s more, Old Master Bai can’t hold out much longer. You’d best have your men seize him, and let me extract his kidney for the operation!"

Bai Qiming, who already doubted Jiang Hao, nodded in agreement,
"My father cannot be put at risk. Very well, we’ll do as you say. Seize him!"

At his command, several bodyguards closed in on Jiang Hao.

With these bodyguards, Jiang Hao could have broken free effortlessly.
But to eliminate future troubles, he quickly knocked them all out.

Then, in a flash, he appeared before Wang Jun’an, seized him by the throat, and smiled icily,
"You really never learn, do you? I spared your life once out of mercy. Yet you dare provoke me again? You have only yourself to blame!"

With that, he bent his right hand into a claw and, with blinding speed, tapped dozens of acupoints on Wang Jun’an’s body. His movements were so swift they seemed to blur into afterimages.

Moments later, Wang Jun’an’s muscles began to twitch as if possessed by some living force. Thick veins bulged grotesquely, sending chills down the spines of all who watched.

Wang Jun’an let out wails of agony,
"Ah… ah… It hurts… it hurts so much… I can’t bear it, I can’t… Kill me… I beg you, kill me!"

His screams were so harrowing that the medical experts consulting in the room rushed out to see what was happening.

Among them, an elderly man with silver hair caught sight of the scene and cried out in shock,
"This… This is the legendary ‘Sealing Acupoints Technique’ used in medicine to punish evildoers! But wasn’t it lost to history ages ago?"
