Chapter 142: Pandemonium
Suddenly recalling something, Su Qingli asked, "By the way, Jiang Jingru contacted me today and said the class reunion will be held tomorrow night at the Tianlong Grand Hotel."
The Tianlong Grand Hotel?
Isn't that Zhao Tianlong’s hotel?
I really didn’t expect class monitor Li Dong to choose this place for the reunion.
Jiang Hao wasn’t worried at all; he just found it amusing.
Not long ago, he had beaten up those thugs from the Tianlong Group and even went straight to their doorstep, smashing up the Tianlong Grand Hotel.
Now that he was going there again, how would Zhao Tianlong treat him?
Chances were that Zhao Tianlong would treat Jiang Hao like a revered ancestor. There was absolutely no way he would be unwelcome.
Zhao Tianlong neither had the courage nor the strength for that!
“All right, then we’ll attend the reunion tomorrow,” Jiang Hao said with a smile as he nodded.
The next evening, 7:30 p.m.
Jiang Hao drove his Bugatti Veyron and slowly stopped in front of the Tianlong Grand Hotel’s main entrance.
As soon as the car door opened and he stepped out, the two doormen at the hotel entrance went pale.
Both looked at Jiang Hao with faces ashen, their legs trembling uncontrollably.
“Mr. Jiang…” one of the doormen stammered nervously as he stepped forward.
“Relax, I’m not here to cause trouble today; I’m here to dine,” Jiang Hao said with a smile.
Hearing this, the doorman finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Jiang Hao then opened the front passenger door and held out his hand.
Su Qingli lightly stepped down from the car, holding Jiang Hao’s arm.
The doorman was stunned as his eyes fixed on her.
Su Qingli was dressed exceptionally beautifully tonight.
She wore a silver-white long gown—simple without any extra adornments, yet it gave off a pure and noble aura.
“Had enough of the view?” Jiang Hao teased.
The doorman snapped back to his senses and quickly backed away in fright.
“S-sorry… I didn’t mean to…” he stammered.
Jiang Hao wasn’t angry but smiled instead. “So, what do you think? Isn’t my wife beautiful?”
Su Qingli’s cheeks flushed a deep crimson at his words.
The doorman nodded repeatedly, his expression embarrassed beyond words.
Jiang Hao casually tossed the car keys to the doorman. “Go park the car for me.”
“Yes, Mr. Jiang!” the doorman caught the keys hurriedly and nodded respectfully.
Jiang Hao held Su Qingli’s hand and walked into the Tianlong Grand Hotel.
As soon as they entered, two female waitresses in red cheongsams approached.
“Welcome. May I ask—”
Before they could finish, their faces changed, and they looked at Jiang Hao with fear.
At that moment, Su Qingli finally realized just how terrified the hotel staff had been when Jiang Hao previously came to the Tianlong Grand Hotel.
It made her very happy, and a warm feeling spread through her entire body.
Because Jiang Hao came here for her sake; if not for her, how could he have taught the Tianlong Grand Hotel staff a lesson?
Looking at the two waitresses, Jiang Hao said calmly, “We’re here to dine… we have a reservation.”
The two waitresses nodded quickly and led Jiang Hao and Su Qingli to the front desk.
The cashier and receptionist at the counter was startled upon seeing Jiang Hao.
“Mr. Jiang… hello…” she said nervously, her delicate hands trembling uncontrollably.
The waitress in the red cheongsam beside her quickly reminded, “Mr. Jiang is here to dine. He has a private room reserved.”
Hearing this, the receptionist relaxed a bit and respectfully asked, “Mr. Jiang, which private room did you reserve?”
Jiang Hao did not answer; Su Qingli asked on his behalf, “Is there a reservation under the name Li Dong? He should be hosting a gathering here.”
“Oh, yes, yes. Room 204,” the receptionist replied promptly, forcing a smile as she said to the waitress, “Please take Mr. Jiang and his wife there.”
“Certainly,” the waitress nodded and led the way silently.
Jiang Hao held Su Qingli’s hand and followed at a leisurely pace.
Just as they stepped onto the stairs leading to the second floor, a young man with blond hair swaggered down—none other than Huang Ya.
Huang Ya was known to both Su Qingli and Jiang Hao; after all, he had previously led some thugs to cause trouble at Su Qingli’s shop.
Seeing Jiang Hao and Su Qingli, Huang Ya’s expression changed drastically. He quickly stepped aside and bowed to Jiang Hao.
“W-welcome, Mr. Jiang!” Huang Ya said hurriedly, his voice trembling and breaking.
“You’re more sensible this time,” Jiang Hao said meaningfully.
Huang Ya kept his head low, not daring to look Jiang Hao in the eye.
He respectfully said, “I will remember your lesson forever, Mr. Jiang, and never forget it!”
“That’s good.”
Jiang Hao waved his hand casually.
Huang Ya immediately quickened his pace down the stairs as if being chased by a ferocious beast, not daring to stop.
After turning a corner downstairs, Huang Ya let out a long breath.
“Good grief, that scared me to death… how did this big devil show up?”
Then he hurried toward the office on the side of the first-floor lobby, muttering to himself as he walked, “No, I have to tell the boss this right away!”
In the office of the Tianlong Hotel owner.
Zhao Tianlong, dressed in formal attire, was standing in front of his wine rack, proudly admiring his collection of fine wines while stroking his chin.
Suddenly, Huang Ya burst in, panic written all over his face as he exclaimed, “Brother Tianlong, it’s bad, something really bad has happened…”
“What bad thing could possibly happen?” Zhao Tianlong asked indifferently, taking down a bottle of red wine and carefully wiping it with a white cloth.
Huang Ya blurted out, “Brother Tianlong, Mr. Jiang is here—the notorious Jiang Hao devil has come to our hotel. He’s already upstairs…”
“What!” Zhao Tianlong was shocked, dropping the bottle of red wine he was holding. It nearly shattered on the floor.
He scrambled hastily to catch the bottle, narrowly saving the expensive wine worth tens of thousands of Huabi from breaking into pieces.
