Zhang Junjie glared at Li Chengfeng with anger. "That whole family has already been deceived terribly, and you still come to cheat them? Have you no conscience at all?"
"Our search and rescue team has used all sorts of advanced equipment, searching here for days without finding the child. What do you have to find the child with?"
"Just these two broken gourds and two roosters?"
"Exactly."
Li Chengfeng remained calm, unwilling to argue with Zhang Junjie. After all, he meant well, worried that Mr. and Mrs. Wang would be deceived again.
It was clear the Wangs had been scammed many times before, or Zhang Junjie's reaction wouldn’t have been so fierce.
Wang Jun sighed deeply, realizing now that Li Chengfeng was barely in his twenties—this young man must have been desperate to be hired.
Li Chengfeng spoke solemnly, "Rest assured, if I don’t find the child, I won’t take a penny."
Hearing this, Zhang Junjie's expression softened considerably.
Wang Jun, however, said shyly, "Mr. Li, whether or not you find the child, I won’t let you leave empty-handed."
Li Chengfeng simply nodded. Wang Jun’s words showed he was an honest man.
Zhang Junjie stayed nearby, not leaving yet—he wanted to see for himself how Li Chengfeng planned to find the child.
Hearing the dispute, Yang Dongming and his wife, along with some relatives and friends, approached silently and stood quietly nearby.
Under the watchful eyes of everyone present, Li Chengfeng placed the two roosters by the reservoir’s edge. Strangely, the roosters crouched motionless on the ground.
Then, in front of the roosters, he lit six incense sticks and burned two piles of spirit money.
He muttered quietly, as if speaking to the roosters, who listened obediently.
Zhang Junjie snorted coldly, his voice dripping with sarcasm: "Playing tricks and pretending to be supernatural."
Li Chengfeng ignored him and continued burning the spirit money before the roosters.

Once the spirit money finished burning, both roosters crowed simultaneously and even nodded their heads.
Li Chengfeng then placed the two gourds beside the roosters, and a strange scene unfolded.
The moment the gourds touched the ground, the roosters slowly closed their eyes, their heads drooped, and instantly lifeless.
Zhang Junjie, the Wangs, the Yangs, and their relatives were stunned. How could the two roosters die so inexplicably?
"Mr. Li, what’s going on here?"
Li Chengfeng didn’t answer but whispered, "Lower your voices and tell me your children’s birth dates and times according to the lunar calendar."
Wang Jun and Yang Dongming each gave their children’s birth details.
Li Chengfeng dipped his cinnabar brush and wrote their children’s birth information on yellow paper, then burned the papers in front of the gourds.
Once this was done, Li Chengfeng formed a sword-hand seal and pointed at the gourds, shouting, "Rise!"
The two gourds by the water seemed to come alive, leaping directly into the reservoir at his command.
Everyone was dumbfounded. Zhang Junjie wiped the cold sweat from his brow, thinking this must be an illusion.
The gourds floated on the water’s surface, drifting against the waves.
Normally, gourds are light and would drift with the current, but these two floated upstream, defying scientific principles and baffling all present.
Under everyone’s gaze, the gourds moved steadily deeper into the reservoir.
The search and rescue team members, who were retrieving bodies by boat, watched in quiet amazement.
Not long after, the gourds stopped moving, anchored in place as if fixed to the water’s surface, unaffected by wind or waves.
Wang Jun’s face lit with excitement. "Mr. Li, what’s happening? Why aren’t the gourds moving?"
"Could it be that our child is right beneath them?"

Li Chengfeng nodded and looked seriously at the Wangs and the Yangs. "Please, step aside."
"Why?"
"If you stay here, the child won’t come out. The child doesn’t want to see you hurt, nor do they want you to see their current state."
Wang Jun and Yang Dongming looked helpless. They already knew that despite his youth, Li Chengfeng truly had abilities. They had no choice but to obey, tears glistening in their eyes as relatives helped them turn away.
The Wang and Yang couples had only gone a short distance when the gourds, once floating on the surface, suddenly vanished and began to sink slowly.
Zhang Junjie still couldn’t believe his eyes. He stepped forward, his shoes already wet, desperately searching for the vanished gourds.
He shouted to the rescue team on the boat, "Where did those two gourds go?"
"Captain, the gourds sank to the bottom of the reservoir," a team member replied.
Impossible!
Gourds have great buoyancy. Without external force, how could they sink?
This defied all scientific logic and even contradicted physics.
Zhang Junjie called out urgently, "Divers, get down there quickly and see where the gourds went."
Two divers, freshly equipped with flashlights and cameras, plunged into the water again.
They followed the gourds’ descent to the reservoir’s depths.
The gourds sank slowly, and the divers soon located them.
They filmed the gourds underwater with their cameras, capturing everything live.
