Chapter 5: Auntie's Predictions Are More Reliable
Heat cycle?
Scheduling...?
How did Su Su suddenly become so straightforward?
She had always detested them the most. Why today did she want to schedule with them and even ask about their heat periods?
For a moment, the expressions of those present turned a bit strange.
Que Qing spoke distrustfully, “What trick are you playing this time? Just say it straight, don’t beat around the bush.”
Every time they were in heat, it was always them who ended up confined and forcibly subdued.
Now, suddenly, she was acting all nice, offering to help them get through their heat periods.
This was probably not a schedule but a death sentence!
Knowing how difficult they were to deal with, she was using the heat cycle schedule as bait to lure them in and then trick them.
Su Su rolled her eyes at him, “What trick? You guys are so weak, shouldn’t you be worrying about passing the upcoming assessment instead?”
Su Su had just learned from the system that they would soon have to take an alien creature identification test, yet these few beast-class members were stuck at rank three with no improvement.
Assessment?
The few were momentarily stunned, not expecting Su Su to suddenly care about their studies.
To enhance the combat abilities of the beastmen, the Interstellar Federation schools regularly hold assessments to determine if one can continue studying.
They actually cared about this a lot, but the females’ lack of cooperation weakened their mental resistance, leaving their scores barely passing.
In the interstellar era, only the females’ mental power could soothe the pollution or collapse of the beastmen’s mental maps and help enhance their mental resistance.
The stronger the beastmen’s mental resistance, the better they could withstand attacks from powered beings, thereby improving their supernatural strength.
Naturally, the stronger the female mental power, the greater the support they provided in cultivation.
If Su Su really improved and helped them with mental guidance, it would indeed be a good thing for them.
She had thought about this before but never followed through due to her own lack of persistence.
Her poor talent and academic performance had caused her to vent her frustrations on them.
Despite facing expulsion for failing, her prestigious status meant the school gave her a green light, doing everything possible to keep her.
Such a lazy person in mental cultivation suddenly talking about academic exams—what was she up to? Was she planning another sacrifice to Ruan Nan?
Last time she said something similar and ended up giving the hard-earned Flame Fruits to Ruan Nan for free, while they suffered injuries.
Was she thinking of pulling the same trick again?
Thinking this, Xin Bai said, “If you’re determined to contribute to Ruan Nan, then don’t bother telling us.”
“Who wants to be a blood bag for that phoenix man? From today on, don’t mention her in front of me.”
“Got nothing better to do?”
Que Qing snorted coldly, not fully believing what Su Su said.
Su Su ignored him. Their unwillingness to talk didn’t mean she had no other means.
She had several profiles in her lightbrain and quickly found what she needed.
Without hiding it, she looked it up right before their eyes.
“Xiao Ai, help me check the heat periods of Xin Bai, Yan Luo, Su Yu, Que Qing, and Ye Xi.”
Su Su spoke firmly and without embarrassment, as if doing something perfectly ordinary.
The others scratched their noses or looked at the sky, feeling quite uncomfortable.
How did Su Su suddenly become so blunt?
But who was this Xiao Ai anyway?
Before they could figure it out, a mechanical voice sounded from the blue holographic screen overhead: “Master, I am here; Xiao Ai at your service.”
At the mechanical voice, they suddenly realized that Su Su’s lightbrain assistant was named Xiao Ai.
The name was odd; they remembered Su Su’s previous lightbrain had a different name.
Indeed, her previous lightbrain was called “Only Love Ruan Nan.”
What was this? After using it once, she had immediately renamed it Xiao Ai.
In her present life, she was a Mi fan, and the household AI was all called Xiao Ai, so this felt more familiar.
Before they could adjust, another mechanical voice sounded:
“Query results: Xin Bai’s heat period is on the first day of each month; Yan Luo is irregular, with mental disorder causing potential periods mid-month and at month-end; Ye Xi’s heat is stable mid-month; Que Qing’s occurs sometimes mid-month, sometimes at month-end; Su Yu’s is on the last day of each month.”
Having their private details laid bare, the group was at a loss for words.
Silence was the best way to avoid embarrassment.
Su Su listened, then frowned disdainfully, “Except for Ye Xi and Xin Bai, your heat cycles are more unstable than my period.”
The others: “...”
Was heat something to be discussed alongside menstruation?
Su Su today was beyond changed—calling her perverse wouldn’t be an exaggeration.
“This scheduling is a bit tricky but not impossible.”
Su Su stroked her chin thoughtfully, then tapped a few keys on the virtual keyboard in the air. Soon, a table appeared suspended before them.
Su Su opened her lightbrain’s chat tool and created a group.
“All right, I’m just being practical. This is the schedule I arranged. Take a look and tell me if anything needs changing.”
Schedule...?
No, she was serious!
That straightforward?
Xin Bai glanced at it, surprised to find himself scheduled first—and today just happened to be the first of the month.
Que Qing didn’t want to look but curiosity got the better of him, and he saw himself placed last.
Ye Xi looked it over and smirked, “I have no objection to this arrangement.”
Neither good nor bad, right in third place—flexible for offense or defense, a decent position.
“I’m second? I don’t agree!” Yan Luo protested.
Su Yu saw himself second to last and said nothing, “I have no objection either.”
“Since four of you agree, objections are invalid. You’re still second!” Su Su squinted at Yan Luo and smiled.
Yan Luo had assumed none would agree with Su Su’s idea, but besides him, the others remained silent.
He looked questioningly at the others, “What’s wrong with you? No one objects?”
Object?
Objecting was impossible—after all, Su Su was finally pushing for mental cultivation.
They all came to this school to improve their strength.
Since she had this idea, waiting a little longer was worth it.
Seeing their agreement, Su Su turned to Xin Bai standing nearby: “Xin Bai, remember to come find me tonight!”
Xin Bai: “......”
Xin Bai blushed at her words, while the others showed various expressions.
Yan Luo looked at Xin Bai with sympathy, “Xiao Bai, you must protect yourself well.”
Que Qing patted his shoulder, “Brother, take care.”
Ye Xi crossed his arms, smirked, and said, “Brother, I’m looking forward to your reaction.”
