Chapter Thirty-Six: Synthesis—S-Rank Symbiotic Battle Armor!
Page (1/3)
“I feel like you’ve changed.”
No-Brain stared seriously at Sucheng. “You’re busy every day now, and you don’t pay attention to me anymore. So you’re tired of me, aren’t you?”
Sucheng said helplessly, “What have you been reading?”
No-Brain produced a book titled The Domineering CEO Falls for His Forty-Eight-Year-Old Divorced Housewife with Children. “The little girl came by earlier to deliver this book to me. She didn’t see you, so she left and said she’d come again tomorrow.”
“Read less of that kind of nonsense. You don’t have a brain to begin with.”
Sucheng carried all the crates outside into the house.
There were too many for him to bring back alone, and he did not want anyone tracking him.
Remi held a very high position on the black market, and naturally had plenty of methods at her disposal.
So he had contacted Yang Siqi and asked her to find a way to deliver the crates without allowing anyone to trace them.
When he opened the crates, he found a collection of exceptionally well-preserved Grade E mechanical prosthetics.
Some had even undergone specialization and various modifications.
Sucheng took out the Grade A combat prosthesis he had synthesized earlier.
Activating the Eye of Dimensions, he began synthesizing and upgrading them one by one.
“Synthesis complete: ten Grade D mechanical prosthetics.”
“Synthesis complete: five Grade C mechanical prosthetics.”
“Synthesis complete: …”
“Synthesis complete: one Grade A combat prosthesis!”
In the end, two Grade A combat prostheses were combined.
“Synthesis complete: Grade S Symbiotic Battle Armor!”
[Grade S Symbiotic Battle Armor: A prosthesis based on an entirely new concept and design philosophy. It does not replace the original body, but instead allows the prosthesis and the original body to coexist, strengthening one another.
Employing liquid nanotechnology, it can penetrate down to the cellular level, fuse with the body’s cells, and enhance the human physique.
When used in conjunction with military implants, it provides comprehensive protection, with the two systems amplifying each other and stabilizing the armor’s form.
To meet the challenges posed by increasingly powerful extraterrestrial civilizations and the environments of other worlds, the Human Alliance jointly developed the Symbiotic Battle Armor.
It has continued to evolve through successive iterations.
As humanity’s primary defensive technology for interstellar travel, it provides immense strength and defensive capability. It automatically adapts to the form of the original body, automatically mitigating attacks and all forms of impact, and possesses a degree of self-repair and self-healing.
It is the most iconic technology of humanity’s Second-Dimension Technology and belongs to the Second-Dimension Technology category.]
Sucheng gazed at the smooth black metal armor before him. Its surface rippled like water.
It was no longer merely a set of prosthetic limbs, but a complete suit of armor joined into one.
It lacked the exquisite engravings of the Grade A combat prosthesis and the dazzling silver sheen of the Grade B combat prosthesis.
Its appearance was plain and unremarkable, yet the technology within it was far more advanced.
Who would have thought that replaceable prosthetics would eventually lead to battle armor?
Armor capable of coexisting with the original body!
Moreover, Grade A combat prostheses had all been developed by the Optical Technology Group, whereas the Grade S Symbiotic Battle Armor had been jointly developed by the Human Alliance.

That alone revealed how difficult it had been to develop—and how advanced it was.
And there would be further iterations and upgrades in the future.
The technology of the New Humans was beyond imagination.
“What is this? It looks completely different. It feels like water!”
No-Brain moved his hand above the Grade S Symbiotic Battle Armor.
At once, the armor’s surface rose and fell in response to his finger, rippling like water.
No-Brain exclaimed, “Damn, that’s amazing!”
Sucheng reached out and touched the armor.
In an instant, the entire suit transformed into liquid nanomaterial. It flowed along his finger, rapidly enveloping his entire body, then burrowed into his muscles and fused with his original cells.
His strength, defense, speed, and reflexes were continuously enhanced.
The armor also connected directly to his brain and nervous system.
With nothing more than a thought, the liquid nanomaterial surfaced beneath his skin, covering most of his body and transforming into black nan armor.
However, there was no armor on his back because he lacked an implant there. Nor did it extend above his chest, leaving him without complete protection.
The armor’s form could not be stabilized, either. It remained like a mass of liquid metal and required military implants to function properly.
Sucheng felt the strength throughout his body surge dramatically.
He looked toward the metal wall beside him, clenched his fist, and punched with all his might.
Bang!
The metal wall was blasted straight through.
The house was old and run-down, but the wall was made of solid steel plate twenty centimeters thick.
And now, he had punched right through it.
Powerful.
Far too powerful.
He had not felt even the slightest impact.
The Symbiotic Battle Armor’s adaptive properties had completely dispersed the recoil.
No-Brain cried out, “Damn it, this is our home! Are you trying to freeze me to death in winter, you bastard?”
Sucheng clenched his fist again. The nan armor imposed none of the mechanical restrictions of ordinary prosthetics; it moved just like his own body.
Every particle of nanomaterial adhered closely to him, changing form along with his movements.
This was true future technology.
Sucheng went outside, summoned the armor, and used his hands to smooth out the metal that had burst outward from the hole in the wall.
Then he found a piece of scrap metal and welded it over the opening from both sides.
No-Brain grumbled, “Patch it up today, patch it up again tomorrow. You miserable bastard.”
“I was planning to go to the ruins tomorrow to find you a body.”
Sucheng concentrated. The armor instantly dissolved into nanomaterial and returned to his body. “The plan has changed. We’re not going.”
“Cousin!”
No-Brain immediately grabbed Sucheng’s hand. “There’s no need for that! We’re partners who depend on each other to survive. Can you really bear to leave me brainless forever?”

Sucheng teased, “I think you’re perfectly fine without a brain.”
“So this is how you repay me.”
No-Brain lowered his mechanical hand and walked over to the corner of the room.
“Just kidding.”
Sucheng changed out of his hunter’s clothes and put them away. “I’ll take you to the ruins tomorrow. If the girl arrives early, we’ll deal with her business first, then go.”
No-Brain turned around. The upper half of the aperture around his camera-eye had closed, making him look deeply aggrieved. “Really? Look, I can’t even turn my head. How ridiculous…”
“Really. Come on, let’s play a game.”
“Coming, coming! Damn it, you should have said so earlier. You made me act pitiful for half the day.”
“…”
“I’ll go first.”
“Damn it, who invented those delayed attacks? They’re impossible to deal with.”
“Let me try. It’s only natural that someone brainless like you can’t beat him. Watch me take him down in one move.”
“You pathetic beginner. You can’t even beat the big-headed one, and you still dare make fun of me?”
The two were having a wonderful time playing when the noisy roar of engines suddenly came from outside.
Sucheng’s expression shifted.
The Death Rock Gang?
Bang, bang, bang!
“Open up! We’re with the Death Rock Gang!”
Sure enough.
Earlier, they had questioned the residents in the area about what had happened there.
Had they discovered something?
Sucheng set down the controller and opened the door.
Standing outside was the man with ten piercings across his face—the same man from that morning.
The pierced man demanded harshly, “You’re the only one here?”
Sucheng nodded.
At that moment, the pierced man spotted No-Brain and immediately cursed, “Damn it, isn’t that a person? Robots count as people too! Get out, all of you, now!”
Sucheng’s eyes turned cold. He and No-Brain were escorted outside together.
He glanced around and discovered that all the nearby residents had been brought out as well.
“Move faster!”
The pierced man made as though to strike him. “Stop looking around, damn it. Never thought I’d come looking for you, did you? You were acting so tough this morning. I’ll kill you in a minute!”
