Volume 1, Chapter 51: You Are My Teacher!
A yell of agony escaped the blond-haired man. In an instant, blood spilled from his calf, yet gravity compressed it into small, round puddles.
"I bear no grudge or enmity against you. Why do you seek to harm me?"
Xiao Fancheng shrugged.
"I don't really enjoy killing; I’ve done it too much."
"There’s no thrill left in it anymore."
With that, Xiao Fancheng delivered a kick to each of them, breaking one leg of three men before retracting his supergravity.
Zhong Xingyue had studied the entire Nine Provinces list from start to finish but found no familiar names or places. She hadn’t even heard of these realms before. They hovered densely within, swaying with his movements, oddly beautiful to behold.
Sensing the strange gazes of everyone, the once solemn atmosphere was dramatically shattered. Jiamu choked on his words and spoke irritably.
After a short distance, the students heard faint sounds of fighting, brief and low, followed by the dragging of something.
Fearing mockery from Yan Xiang, he hurriedly hid his face behind the Qingyun fan, concealing his embarrassment. Having barely slept all night and exhausted from the long journey, he felt weak and dizzy. Gazing down into the abyss beneath the bridge made his scalp tingle.
Qian Ye lowered her eyelids, but in a fleeting moment, she reaffirmed her place and made her plans.
If he didn’t leave immediately, the next moment the heat would pierce through him, roasting him alive into ashes.
For now, the abbot’s caretaker likely wouldn’t return. By the time he came back to settle accounts, she would be nowhere to be found.
Mo Nan Sheng stepped inside and steadied Xin’er, who had just completed her bow and was about to stand. Immediately, the maids and cooks nearby, along with Lan’er whose eyes were still red, quietly withdrew, leaving only Mo Nan Sheng, Xin’er, and Chi Qing.
“Xi’er,” he suddenly grasped her hand, a faint flush of desire coloring his wicked expression.
“If Zhu Ronglian is interested, I can’t refuse to accompany him, but…” At this, Nie Feng paused and looked at Zhu Ronglian.
The phoenix warrior’s body twisted strangely and limberly, lacking bones, easily dodging Liu Yunfei’s spear, then swung his long, slender ‘legs’—shaped by dance—raised in a fiery kick aimed at his temple.
From the silhouette alone, Jialuoro recognized Nie Feng as the one who had recently destroyed the Rebellion Heaven Mover. Upon seeing him again, Jialuoro’s murderous intent surged, but when he saw Nie Feng’s true form, he was sharply taken aback.
“What… what do you want to do?” The black-clad man’s voice trembled as he sensed the anomaly behind him. He wasn’t afraid of death—he had accepted it long ago in this line of work—but the hellish chill radiating from Shangguan Lingyou and her ruthless methods filled him with genuine terror and cold dread.
Lu Lin casually sent a reckless player back to town with a single sword stroke, then planned to climb onto the platform from the corner.
The sharp voice, intense beats, and surging passion ignited the entire crowd. Chen Qiang lost control of the audience’s enthusiasm as they surged forward, causing him to drop the microphone and flee.
Chen Yidao couldn’t bear to see Long Weiwei sleeping face down, so he had Xu Bingbing and a nurse help carry her into a hospital room to rest.
Guo Yi was stunned for a moment, then lunged from another direction, charging at his opponent with astonishing speed.
Lu Lin was so furious he almost jumped into Full Moon Lake to duel the fellow. Given his current level and gear, it would be bullying, but the other was utterly clueless and uncommunicative—better not to come at all. This guy was regressing instead of progressing; once he could be called “Nana” or something, now he was no different from the surrounding fishmen.
