Those within this space will be completely isolated from the outside world, and all means of communication will fail.
"Construction Method": Four or more fully mature, qualified Doppelgangers who are intimately familiar with this area and have left their footprints here must stand at the four corners of this space simultaneously.
Using their split faces as flesh-and-blood corners to construct a perfect polygonal space.
"Camouflage": The camouflage characteristics of the space itself far surpass those of ordinary corner-like spaces.
Moreover, the flow of time within this space will be drastically slowed down; the twelve-hour screening process will actually only take one hour in reality.
"Objective":
To screen out a Doppelganger powerful enough, granting them the status and qualification to enter the corners, completing a promotion in a certain sense.
"Impact":
Any human enveloped within the In-Between, due to being closer to the true corners, will have their minds more easily influenced. Individuals who already possess certain psychological flaws or low psychological defenses may rapidly develop mental corners within this space.
Among the Doppelgangers constructing the In-Between, if there are special variants, their abilities may also amplify this influence.
The four competing Doppelgangers will not only slaughter one another, but will also, with high probability, exert various influences on, murder, or modify the humans trapped inside the In-Between.
The space here will also be stretched, bent, or even completely altered, making the original area simultaneously familiar yet strange.
The In-Between is more prone to forming physical corners, and anyone who approaches too closely will be sucked right into them.
